Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, assembling, and organizing ingredients efficiently and safely
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Support cooking processes under supervision, ensuring quality and presentation meet established guidelines
- Handle food safety protocols diligently, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent customer service
- Learn how to make ice cream and deliver excellent customer service to our customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Basic kitchen experience including food preparation, cooking, or food handling is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and serve guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices to maintain a safe working environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
