Description:
Rolling Hills Country Club is seeking a seasonal full time skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician I to support the upkeep, repair, and improvement of club facilities. This role focuses on maintaining and supporting general facility maintenance operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high-quality spaces and works well both independently and as part of a maintenance team to ensure the club remains safe, functional, and visually well maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on doors, frames, cabinets, furniture, shelving, trim, and other carpentry elements throughout the facility.
- Install and repair baseboards, molding, drywall, paneling, ceilings, and other finish carpentry features.
- Adjust and repair locks, hinges, door hardware, and related components.
- Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner and troubleshoot facility repair issues.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs
- Build and install cabinetry, counters, shelving, and storage solutions as needed.
- Assist with maintaining facility cleanliness and operational readiness when needed.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document completed work, materials used, and maintenance activity through the facility work order system.
- Communicate repair timelines, project progress, and maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Experience in building maintenance and facilities maintenance.
- Knowledge of drywall repair and door hardware,
- Ability to learn how to use hand tools and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work on ladders or lifts.
- Multi-trade skills such as painting, landscaping, cleaning, organizing shop areas

- Valid Driver’s License required
