Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented laundry operator to join our team. Work hours are 8am to 5pm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that garments are sorted, and cleaned, and presented to the highest standards (WE WILL TRAIN IN THIS POSITION). This position requires a blend of technical skills and customer service abilities, making it essential for maintaining our reputation for quality and service in the dry cleaning and hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Sort, launder/dryclean various types of fabrics according to established procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns as well as order intake/outtake.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of garments.
Experience
- Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required.
- Customer service experience, particularly in hospitality or hotel settings, is highly valued.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures is beneficial.
- Basic math skills are necessary for processing transactions accurately.
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
