Tool & Die Manager Needed ASAP

Well, they are seeking a Tool and Die Manager to lead their Tooling Department. You'll plan, organize, direct, and control the production, maintenance, repair, cleaning, storage, and continuous improvement of dies, vacuum calibrators, fixtures, and related tooling.

You'll also ensure tooling meets approved drawings, quality requirements, production priorities, cost expectations, and agreed delivery schedules while developing a capable and accountable team.

Qualifications:

·   High school diploma or equivalent required.

·  Completion of a recognized tool and die, machining, or manufacturing apprenticeship or technical program is preferred.

·   5 years of leadership or management experience in tool and die, tooling, machining, or a closely related manufacturing environment.

·    Working knowledge of tool and die manufacturing, repair, troubleshooting, machining processes, dimensional requirements, and technical drawings.

·  Journey-level Tool and Die Maker experience and experience with CAD/CAM, CNC and Wire machining, preventive-maintenance systems, ERP or production-planning systems, budgets, outside suppliers, equipment purchases, or capital projects are preferred
