POSITION SUMMARY
General fabrication processes, such as cutting, grinding, and organizing different metals for machine operators. This role is hands-on and requires attention to detail to ensure quality parts are produced on time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fabricate and assemble metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.

Organize different metals and materials for machine operators

Operate saws, drills, grinders, and other fabrication tools.

Follow work orders, drawings, and instructions to produce accurate parts.

Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Knowledge/Skills:

Qualifications & Essential job Functions:

High school diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience.

1-3 years of experience in a production plant preferred

Ability to use hand tools, measuring tools, and shop equipment.

Basic blueprint or drawing reading skills preferred.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion with minimal supervision.

Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to perform multiple tasks, with strong attention to detail.

Working Conditions:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and products up to 40 pounds. Equipment operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: safety glasses with side shields, hearing protectors, hard toed safety shoes, protective gloves, and aprons as needed. Work schedule is based on a 10 hour schedule with overtime required based on business needs.
