Duties

- Maintain patient records accurately using electronic health record systems, such as eClinicalWorks.
- Perform clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Coordinate medical scheduling for patients, ensuring timely appointments with healthcare providers.
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate effective communication and patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and clerical duties is essential.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Knowledge of medical coding is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
