• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by executing routine cleaning tasks.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or cleaning equipment, adhering to manual handling safety protocols.
• Utilize industrial cleaning tools and equipment efficiently to achieve optimal floor care and sanitation standards.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest safety at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment is essential.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining compliance with SDS guidelines and chemical handling procedures.
• Strong manual handling skills with the capacity for heavy lifting when necessary.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems and hospitality standards is advantageous.
• Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest well-being at all times.
