Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Administrative Assistant position located in New York, NY. The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of tasks essential to the support of daily operations. These include creating digital magazines, managing schedules, organizing documents, maintaining records, handling phone calls, providing general clerical support, assisting with executive administrative tasks, and contributing to smooth office workflow. The role requires efficient communication with internal teams, students, and external stakeholders.
[This is an onsite part time role for 15 hours a week at an hourly rate of $20 and for a total duration of 12 weeks or 3 months]
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Administrative Assistance and Clerical tasks, including setting up appointments, maintaining files, and data entry
- Competency in Adobe Suite of Software for producing new digital materials including Newsletters, eMagazines, portfolios, reports and ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals and teams
- Experience in Executive Administrative Assistance and managing correspondence for higher-level professionals
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite of software [Photoshop, Indesign], Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant office software
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Familiarity with higher education institutions or previous experience in an academic setting is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred
