What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parks and Recreation Concessions Runner (Part-time/Seasonal) position at The City of Millbrook?
This is a manual labor position that takes orders from patrons and carries food and beverages from the concession stand to the window for the patrons to purchase.
Applicants must be able to take and retrieve orders for patrons, stock coolers, wrap cooked food, make sure bathrooms are in good working order and stocked, and maintain a clean working environment. This job includes prolonged periods of standing, walking, and/or bending. While performing the duties of this job, employee is occasionally exposed to heat associated with operating grills, ovens and other kitchen equipment. Applicant must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Applicants must be able to read, understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Applicant must be able to communicate with patrons and other employees. Applicant must be able to work nights and weekends.
Qualifications: Must be at least 16 yrs. or older.
A criminal background check will be performed for this position.
