What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Laborer - Stormwater Division position at The City of Dalton?
The City of Dalton Public Works Department is currently accepting applications for a Laborer. This is a full-time position in the Stormwater Division with a starting pay rate to be determined based on experience. This position involves task associated with the maintenance of the City’s stormwater infrastructure including assisting other workers with setting and finishing concrete forms for curbing and sidewalks, and installation of stormwater drainage structures; may be used as a flagger for work site traffic control; will help perform preventative maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment; and any other duties as assigned; may be required to work after normal business hours. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Georgia Department of Transportation Flagging certification within six months of employment (paid for by City). Applicants must have a valid Driver’s License.
