What are the responsibilities and job description for the P/T Information Systems Analyst position at The City of Coral Gables?
This position performs systems support, business analysis, and problem resolutions on computer hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications infrastructure.

Performs business process evaluations and IT technology solutions analysis. Designs, develops, integrates and maintains enterprise network and computer systems including cloud environments, servers, client devices, IoT platforms, artificial intelligence systems, software applications, maps and databases.
Collaborates with technical peers and departmental users to complete project assignments and accomplish city goals and directives. Communicates with users, vendors, and manufacturers, as needed, to resolve technical and business problems. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business needs and user requirements. Creates functional design and technical specifications. Determine hardware and software needs and make purchasing recommendations.
Implements and project manages systems and performs documentation and product maintenance. Performs change management, testing, and certification procedures. Interprets, refines, and applies methods and procedures in accordance with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), information technology industry standards and best practices.
Performs technical support; troubleshoots and resolves system problems. Makes repairs and conduct scheduled maintenance tasks. Responds to on-call trouble tickets when required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with two (2) years of work experience, OR Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with three (3) years of work experience
Python, Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft SQL Database, Microsoft Azure Cloud, AWS Cloud, ESRI ArcGIS, Visual Studio .Net, CompTIA and other industry recognized training and certifications.
Valid Florida Driver's License.
A comparable amount of training or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
