Job Title: Deputy Clerk (Civil Division)
Job Overview:
Greeting the public, receipting traffic and criminal payments, receipting garnishment payments, processing mail, filing, data entry and assisting Civil Clerk with other clerical duties . The candidate for this position must be able to type, memorize codes, and be able to use office equipment. The hours for this job will be Mon, Wed and Fri (21 hours) 8:30am - 4:30pm with one hour for lunch. You must be able to pass a background check.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Assist in word processing and filing documents
- Support in litigating processes by organizing and maintaining legal files
- Handle office tasks such as answering phones, and responding to inquiries
- Manage cash handling procedures with precision
- Maintain organizational systems to ensure efficient workflow
Skills:
- Proficient in data entry and word processing software
- Experience with file management and organization
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions securely
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Proficient in clerical duties
