Job Summary:
Through a strong Christian worldview, the Material Donations Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day processing and coordinating of donations to Laura’s Home. This includes the overall supervision of material gift volunteers and Laura’s Home material inventories directed towards the care of the residents.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This role does not currently supervise other staff; however, this role will supervise volunteers and interns as applicable.
- Coaches, corrects, rewards, recognizes, and reviews volunteers and interns in accordance with TCM’s Core Values & policies.
Essential Job Functions:
Collects and Processes Donations
- Organizes and prioritizes all in-coming donations.
- Answers calls and emails from donation line.
- Schedules donation drop-offs and communicates effectively.
- Facilitates transportation of donations from The City Mission main campus warehouse in the collection of Laura’s Home material gifts.
- Ensures compliance of material gifts processing, tracking, and receipting.
Oversees Volunteers and Maintains Collaborations
- Oversees volunteers in material gift processing and material distribution to the residents of Laura’s Home.
- Maintains in-house communication as well as with collaborative community partners.
- Maintains current needs list and ensures all departments of Laura’s Home are included and updated.
