Material Coordinator

Elmet Technologies is a leading producer of the high-performance metals including tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum and niobium.  We are currently sourcing candidates for a Material Coordinator, for our Euclid, OH facility. This person will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, receipt, storage and distribution of materials to ensure operations run smoothly and cost-effectively. Key duties include managing inventory, coordination of materials with suppliers, and resolving shortages or delivery issues.  Job responsibilities also include, but not limited to:Monitoring stock levels, organizing/optimizing storage locations, conducting cycle counts/audits, and ensuring optimal inventory to meet operational demands without excess. Working with material suppliers and service vendors to schedule timely deliveries that meet production needs and stocking levels.Safely Coordinate the internal movement of materials to all production areas and departments according to schedules, ensuring they are available where and when needed.  Utilization of software & systems as required to create and maintain the production schedule within the business sector of the plant. Work with Production, Sales and Inventory reports within the ERP. Integration of ERP data with Excel to allow spreadsheet functionality. Work with Production Planners to manage raw material supply, review customer requirements, understand quality documentation needs and escalate feedback to other business stakeholders. May include supporting office functions, helping cost control, assisting production management in basic reporting around WIP and Inventory, as well as quality driven initiatives.Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field is preferred.3 – 5 years of related experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with internal teams, suppliers and management.Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain detailed records and keep a structured work schedule is critical.Experience with inventory software, ERP systems and Microsoft Office products is desired.An understanding of basic measuring equipment and industry material standards.Attention to Detail, Solution-Oriented with a Continuous Improvement mindset.  Business needs and trade compliance requirements mandate that this position be held by a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.Elmet Technologies offers a highly competitive compensation package along with excellent benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with company match and retirement contribution.Elmet Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer supporting diversity in all our business practices. Powered by JazzHR7wqgDGv4VV
