POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Analysis Director is responsible for the leadership of a team of analysts in the utilization of departmental resource tools (Excel/Teradata/Essbase based) in support of, FP&A, product support & contract negotiation to accurately generate and analyze custom and strategic specialty pharmacy financial analytics in a timely manner. These financial analytics include but are not limited to: new generic & biosimilar entrants, pipeline agents, incremental discounts of existing agents and the support of underwriting assumptions. The Financial Analysis Director also manages utilization changes over time for the Accredo business working in tandem with product teams. The Director will complete independent reviews and generates complex financial forecasting, ad hoc discount analysis, and other discount related activities as assigned by Sr. Director. Works cross-functionally with supply chain, product and other finance partners to accurately value and track rebate financials in support of strategic initiatives and forecasting functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Leadership of a team of analysts in providing accurate and timely specialty pharmacy financials.
Specialty discounts performance tracking- maintain and update the financial value associated with key strategic initiatives relating to these items.
New drug performance tracking (generic, pipeline and biosimilars) – maintain and update the financial value associated with key strategic initiative relating to these items.
Maintain models and support guidance for the product & FP&A teams.
Work across team to create monthly close & forecast stories
Ensure all supply chain financials for Accredo pharmacy are accurately included in all forecasting efforts.
Manage Specialty Pharmacy assumptions for underwriting purposes.
Adhoc analyses in support of contracted rate, pharmacy & program changes.
Perform ad hoc analyses as required.
Other tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field.
At least 5 years of business experience in analysis, modeling, pricing &/or Actuarial sciences.
Previous experience within Specialty Pharmacy Business with understanding of PBM business model.
Excellent quantitative skills and ability to perform complex mathematical analysis and advanced problem solving.
Analytical, highly organized, able to work with little supervision, motivated to successfully meet deadlines, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Excellent Communication skills, oral and written.
Capability to prepare and present concepts and proposals to all levels of management.
Familiarization with drug names, brand/generic equivalents, generic manufacturers preferred.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 150,700 - 251,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan and long term incentive plan.
