What You’ll Do
As an HVAC Technician I, you will:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems to keep the building safe and comfortable.
- Use building automation systems to check performance and make repairs as needed.
- Work with BMS technicians to adjust and fix system settings.
- Help the Chief/Supervisor manage subcontractors when needed.
- Review work orders, estimate time and materials, and keep inventory stocked.
- Follow preventive maintenance plans to keep equipment running well.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and call for extra help if needed.
- Complete repair and maintenance records.
- Handle general building repairs (painting, plumbing, electrical).
- Answer internal service calls and tickets from the operations team.
- Communicate clearly and work well with others.
- Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines.
- Help train and mentor team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Universal CFC certification (required).
- 1 years of HVAC experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Refrigeration experience required.
- Must complete OSHA 10 within 6 months of hire.
- Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and documents.
- Must work safely and protect others.
Other Skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF).
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more and climb stairs/ladders.
- Physical activity includes standing, walking, and stooping.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Flexible start and end times)
- On-call as needed
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 31 - 52 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
