Chiropractic Assistant / Care Coordinator
Role:
Dynamic health and wellness oriented chiropractic clinic looking for a Chiropractic Assistant / Care Coordinator to oversee patient communication, patient files, scheduling, and the execution of office policies, procedures, and patient care systems while helping guide patients through their care plans and wellness goals.
Duties Policies, procedures and scripts related to these responsibilities:
- Handling incoming patients and new patient calls.
- Managing the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Scheduling patient appointments and maintaining provider schedules using EHR system and digital communication platforms (ChiroTouch and Aloha)
- Managing paperwork and communicating re-exams, re-x-rays, progress evaluations, and re-signs.
- New patient data entry and file management.
- Verifying insurance benefits and creating financial agreements.
- Executing the patient conversion process per office procedures.
- Helping coach patients through their care plans and recommendations.
- Helping inspire patients to get on purpose with the office mission through patient education, lectures, workshops, and events.
- Overseeing over-the-counter product and supplement sales collections.
- Balancing end-of-day financial reports and credit card processing systems.
- Keeping the front desk stocked with all required forms and patient materials.
- Creating and maintaining new patient files.
- Helping prepare for and promote office workshops, screenings, and community events.
- Maintaining professional communication with patients regarding appointments, financial obligations, and care recommendations.
- Working with doctors and other team members in delivering an exceptional patient experience.
- Supporting office growth initiatives and patient retention programs
- Enforcing office policies, procedures, and standards of excellence.
Compensation: Salary Plus Bonus
Base Salary: $19 - $25 per hour payable on the Company’s regular pay dates.
Bonus: Employee shall be eligible to earn a monthly profit-sharing bonus while employed by the Company.
Position Objectives
The Chiropractic Assistant / Care Coordinator serves as a key member of the patient care team and is responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience, maintaining accurate records, supporting office operations, and helping patients successfully progress through their recommended care plans. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to the mission of health, wellness, and patient education.
*Must be able to work split shift office hours including M/W/F 8:00 am - 12 pm, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Tue 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm plus some additional training and meeting hours.
