Position Overview
As a Cross-Trained Chiropractic/Medical Assistant, you will be a vital connection point for patients and clinicians. You’ll support administrative front-office operations AND deliver clinical assistance during patient care. This hybrid role requires excellent communication, organization, and a willingness to contribute wherever needed to enhance patient experience and operational flow.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk / Administrative Duties
- Welcome patients warmly and professionally — in person and by phone
- Check-in/check-out patients efficiently
- Schedule appointments and follow-ups across multiple providers
- Collect payments, process insurance information, and manage co-pays
- Maintain clean, organized front desk area
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and text
- Support engagement through patient reminders, recall systems, and education
- Maintain accurate patient records in practice management software
Clinical / Medical Assistant Duties
- Prepare patients for chiropractic and wellness treatments
- Assist doctors during adjustments and medical procedures
- Document clinical notes accurately and timely
- Explain basic procedures and support patient comfort
- Perform therapeutic applications under supervision
- Clean and sanitize treatment areas between sessions
- Inventory clinical supplies and assist with restocking

- Comfortable with basic clinical tasks and willing to cross-train in new procedures
