The Psychiatrist provides services to all residents, including evaluations, consultations, advisements, etc.

Essential Functions:
- Advises staff and maintains appropriate medical/psychiatric standards
- Supervises and assists primary therapists in the preparation of individual treatment plans
- Provides consultation to clinical staff in various issues of care management
- Serves as primary therapist
- Administers psychiatric evaluations
- Prescribes and maintains psychotropic medications according to agency procedures
- Review clinical records for consistency with standards
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Minimum Qualifications:
- New York State Licensed Psychiatrist.
- Board Certified or eligible required.
- Expertise in working with children, adolescents, and young adults.
Please note this position is based at the Residential Treatment Facility and is not remote.
Salary : $120 - $150
