We are currently looking for a Part Time 29 Project Coordinator to join our Sustainability Science team located at the Commerce Administration Building working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
This in-person position is based at the Commerce Administration Building office in Ada,Ok. The Project Coordinator will support the Chickasaw Nation’s Sustainability Science Manager by assisting with the planning, organizing, and implementation of educational programs, research initiatives, and community engagement activities related to the climate adaptation and resilience EPSCoR/NSF grant program. This role focuses on fostering collaboration between the Chickasaw Nation, universities, tribal partners, and community members to support the project’s meaningful programs and research initiatives. Responsibilities include managing communication, facilitating program logistics, supporting research and data collection, and contributing to curriculum development.
- Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
- Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
- Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
- Maintains and promotes professionalism
- Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics

- Requests support data and research as need from the data and research specialists
- Short-term/tactical collaboration and or coordination with supervisors and or managers within a facility or small geographic area
