We are currently looking for a Full Time Pre-School Master Teacher to join our Child Development Center Ardmore team located at the Chickasaw Nation Child Development Center - Ardmore working .
Summary:
Assists with the administration of programs and services to provide quality childcare to families and children and performs related work as required.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in supervising of day-to-day operations of the child development center
- Delegated in the child development center supervisor’s absence
- Assists with updating, developing, and revising policies and procedures of the Child Development Center
- Approves time and employee evaluations as assigned
- Oversees classroom staffing to meet or exceed tribal regulations and ratios
- Assigns areas of responsibilities or projects to staff based upon expertise and/or qualifications
- Assists the supervisor in interviews and recommendations related to hiring teaching and support staff
- Provides classroom teachers with curriculum materials to carry out day to day activities
- Assists with oversight to ensure all health and safety expectations are met
- Maintains a record of required staff trainings
- Supervises the execution of appropriate curriculum of all age groups
- Assists families with enrollment process and completes new parent orientation
- Prepares required reports and submits as directed
- Oversees the waiting list database and all documentation relating to the waiting list
- Oversees the transition list of children enrolled
- Required to obtain 40 hours of child care training each year
- Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
