Location: New York, NYSalary: $85,000 - $100,000 Benefits: M/D/V, PTO New upscale steakhouse opening in NYC seeks an Assistant General Manager to help launch and lead high-touch service at volume.Qualifications:5 years in high-volume, service-driven restaurants as an AGM or senior FOH leader.Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold a 20 person FOH team to elevated standards.Strong floor presence with polished guest recovery, reservations flow, and premium beverage knowledge.Responsibilities:Partner with the General Manager to execute a successful opening and deliver consistent, hospitality-forward service.Lead daily floor operations for lunch and dinner, 7 days/week, ensuring pace, standards, and guest experience (300 covers/day).Support hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management; drive execution of service steps and team culture.Oversee FOH systems including pre-shifts, table touches, VIPs, and service communication to ensure seamless execution.
