Essential Responsibilities
- Monitor the Gaming Lounge including the games and equipment
- Enforce policies and procedures specific to the Gaming Lounge
- Routine cleaning of e-gaming equipment, rented equipment, and all areas of the Gaming Lounge
- Ensure operation of all gaming equipment, computers, and accessories
- Complete preventative maintenance and cleaning
- Set up for daily activities and operations
- Assist members and guests with concerns, questions, and incidents/accidents
- Assist Professional Staff and Building Managers as requested
- Understand and demonstrate competencies in the area of the Emergency Action Plan
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Attend all staff trainings and meetings
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for Health and Recreation Center members and guests
- Must obtain American Red Cross CPR/AED & First Aid certification (we will provide the certification upon employment if needed)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness and ability to enforce policies and resolve conflicts
- Ability to handle several tasks at once with frequent interruptions
- Basic gaming knowledge and skills
- Basic computer skills
Work Environment
- Office environment/fitness center environment/gymnasium center environment
- Moderate to loud noise
- Assisting in event setups requiring lifting exceeding 30lbs
- Standing or walking
- Repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement (while operating computer equipment)
- Bending, stooping
