Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Psychotherapist, primarily based in Berkeley, CA, with the flexibility to work remotely part time. The Psychotherapist will provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a variety of mental health and relationship challenges. Key responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing counseling services, and maintaining detailed documentation of client sessions. The role emphasizes collaboration with other mental health professionals and participating in ongoing professional development to provide the highest level of care.
Qualifications
- Background in Psychology and Counseling
- Knowledge and experience in Mental Health and Relationship Counseling
- Understanding of Medicine as it relates to mental health services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build strong therapeutic relationships
- Master's Degree in a mental health-related field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling, Social Work)—Clinical licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent) is strongly preferred
- Experience in delivering culturally responsive therapy is a plus
