What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Barn Assistant position at The Center for Courageous Kids?
The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) is a world-class camp serving children with serious illness and their families since February, 2008. Our year-round camp programs have served over 43,000 campers from 46 states and 13 countries. We serve children who typically would not be able to attend camp due to their illness and financial constraints. CCK provides respite and support for these children and their families and is designed exclusively for the use of an underserved and medically fragile population. The children and families who attend CCK are able to experience activities like horseback riding, boating, fishing, rock climbing and bowling with no limitations or barriers. CCK family retreats and summer camp sessions are offered at NO COST to the children and families we serve.
CCK is looking for a Part-Time Barn Assistant to support the Barn Manager in the daily operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of the Equestrian Center and assists in the care of horses and other campus animals. This position helps ensure a safe, organized, and well-maintained environment for animals, campers, staff, and visitors.
