What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper I position at The Center for Courageous Kids?
The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) is a world-class camp serving children with serious illness and their families since February, 2008. Our year-round camp programs have served over 43,000 campers from 46 states and 13 countries. We serve children who typically would not be able to attend camp due to their illness and financial constraints. CCK provides respite and support for these children and their families and is designed exclusively for the use of an underserved and medically fragile population. The children and families who attend CCK are able to experience activities like horseback riding, boating, fishing, rock climbing and bowling with no limitations or barriers. CCK family retreats and summer camp sessions are offered at NO COST to the children and families we serve.
The Center for Courageous Kids seeks a Housekeeper I to support the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of camp facilities by completing routine housekeeping and facility care tasks. This position works under the direction of the Lead Housekeeper to help maintain welcoming, sanitary, and well-organized spaces for campers, families, staff, volunteers, and guests.
