The Center at Zaragoza is a new, skilled nursing facility that serves patients needing physical rehabilitation and/or acute nursing care. Job Description: The primary purpose of the Nursing Staff is to provide excellent patient care in compliance with State/Federal Regulations and Company policy.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all areas of the patients medical needs on a daily basis
- Work in collaboration with patient, physician, family members, care team and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care and treatment for the patient
- RN/LPNs-pass meds, provide treatment, assess for changes in conditions
- Answer call lights, assist patient with ADLs
- Responsible for timely and accurate charting
- Do whatever is takes to make our patients happy with their stay
Experience and Specific Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and accept constructive criticism
- Possesses leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel-fosters a true team environment
- Demonstrates judgement and has the ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements
- Able to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals and objectives of the department as it relates to The Center at Foresight
Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
