The Center at Tucson is looking to hire a weekend Charge Nurse RN now!
Shift Availability: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 10-12 hour day shift with some flexibility on start/end times.
Pay: Pay begins at $39/hour, dependent on experience.
$10,000 sign on bonus for full time employees working weekends, to be paid out over the first year of employment.
Job Description: The primary purpose of the Charge Nurse is to provide direct nursing care to patients and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the nursing staff.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing staff in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines
- Assist with admissions (i.e., inputting orders, taking report, etc.)
- Address questions and concerns from patients and patient families
- Assist with med pass and floor nursing as needed
- Audits as assigned by nursing management

Education, licensure, certifications, and experience:
- Must possess a current and valid fingerprint clearance card (FPCC).
- Must possess a current and valid Registered Nurse license.
- Must possess a current and valid CPR certification.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Must have at least one year experience as a licensed RN.
Other Job Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Must possess the ability to tactfully work with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
- Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements, and have the ability to maintain highly confidential information.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.
Salary : $39 - $43
