We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills, able to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic culinary knowledge, including food preparation techniques and food handling practices.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Pay: $8.00 - $24.06 per hour
