Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures diligently
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately through POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests and create memorable experiences
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to sanitation, food safety, and proper food handling practices
- Experience in upselling menu items and managing sales targets effectively
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service levels
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
