Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies.
- Engage children in hands-on activities that support childhood development, including toddler care, preschool learning, and special education needs.
- Monitor and assess individual progress through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction effectively.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones regularly.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times while maintaining an organized learning space.
- Incorporate Montessori or other specialized teaching techniques to enhance early intervention efforts and literacy education.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom management experience in early childhood settings or daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education activities.
- Background in special education or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children.
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields preferred; Montessori training is a plus.

- Candidates must possess at least a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or be willing to obtain one within 6 to 12 months of employment. Support and guidance may be provided to assist with completion. Preference will be given to candidates with a current CDA or equivalent early childhood credential.
Pay: $8.00 - $12.00 per hour
