Summary
We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team at The Care Center of Honolulu. In this role, you will assist in meal preparation and ensure that our residents receive nutritious meals that cater to their dietary needs. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and portioning
- Set up and deliver meal trays according to dietary guidelines
- Serve residents in a friendly and respectful manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and dishwashing areas
- Follow food safety and infection control procedures
- Support cooks and dietary staff as needed
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
