We are seeking an experienced Light Maintenance & Repair Lead to support our team of Lube Technicians. This is a hands on role focused on mentoring technicians, improving repair quality, and helping grow their mechanical skill sets. The ideal candidate comes with strong brake and front-end experience, light mechanical repair knowledge, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, high-volume Ford service environment.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Light Maintenance & Repair Lead to support our team of Lube Technicians. The ideal candidate comes with strong brake and front-end experience, light mechanical repair knowledge, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, high-volume Ford service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and lead Express/Lube Technicians in day-to-day maintenance and light repair work
- Provide guidance, troubleshooting support, and real-time coaching to build technician skills
- Perform and oversee light mechanical repairs
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are being met
- Assist in workflow coordination as the Express department grows
- Set a positive tone, help maintain productivity, and encourage continuous learning
- 3–5 years of recent experience in automotive maintenance and light repair
- Experience from an independent shop or dealership
- Strong background in brakes, front-end repair, and light mechanical work
- Must have own tools and a professional, team-oriented attitude
- Ford experience a plus but not required
