What You'll Do
- Provide technical support to employees and stakeholders via phone, in-person, and text-based channels.
- Learn and apply IT best practices across hardware, software, networking, and security.
- Assist in reducing overall support ticket volume within our ITIL-based ticketing system.
- Maintain regular communication with the Service Desk Manager.
- Participate in employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup, device preparation, and access management.
- Help maintain and update IT documentation to support consistent service delivery.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Install, label, inspect, and maintain technology equipment and tech areas across all dealership locations as directed by IT management.
- Support device deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the IT department on projects and initiatives that support company-wide technology goals.
- Become familiar with technologies used in the automotive industry and how they support dealership operations.
- Learn how the NR Tech Team leverages AI-driven tools and workflows to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Demonstrate the ability to operate effectively within a national, matrixed organization.
- Participate in tech team planning efforts on a company-wide basis.
- Maintain positive, professional relationships with co-workers and vendors.
- Currently enrolled as a college Junior or Senior, studying IT or similar relevant field.
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Strong technology literacy, especially with Microsoft applications.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI tools and automation platforms, and a willingness to learn how they support IT operations.
