Core Responsibilities
- Perform multi-point inspections on used vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and safety-related issues
- Complete reconditioning work including brakes, suspension, steering, engine, and drivetrain repairs
- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filters, fluids, belts, etc.)
- Accurately document all findings and recommended repairs
- Work closely with the used car manager and service advisors
- Meet productivity and quality standards to support inventory turn goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Previous experience as an automotive technician (used car or dealership experience preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- ASE certifications a plus (not required)
