Job Description
The Medical Assistant facilitates patient care by assisting patient through system. Support clinical staff and maintain office environment.
Education
Desired/Required Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant, i.e. complete course work for medical assistant.
- Two years of work experience in similar job or work environment.
- Assist in the delivery of patient care through the oversight of provider schedules and the management of associated office workflow.
- Prepare and deliver patient record for clinical exchange in a manner that maximizes efficiency and quality of care.
- Maintain office environment; to include the stocking of supplies in exam rooms.
- Function as a team member by expanding responsibilities as directed by management to facilitate optimal workflow within the cancer center.
- May be pulled to work at other CHC sites based on clinic and patient needs.
- All other duties as assigned.
