What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Associate position at The Calvert Hotel?
The beautifully restored, historic Calvert Hotel is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented front desk associate to help welcome guests to our community.
Duties:
- Checking guests in and out,
- making and processing reservations,
- receiving cash and credit card payments,
- assisting guests,
- answering phones,
- working with online travel sites, and
- assisting with other tasks as needed.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours/Available Shifts: 16-24 hours per week/ Saturday and Monday - 3 PM - 11 PM with possibility of additional shifts if desired
The successful candidate must have prior customer service experience and will be adept with computer software, organized and dependable.
Applicants must be capable of multitasking and working independently.
Setting:
- Office setting with frequent public interactions
- Ability to sit or stand for up to 100% of shift
- Lift up to 30 pounds infrequently
