The Cabinet Shop LLC, is a commercial architectural millwork company located in Mobile, AL, specializing in commercial casework, solid surface, and stone tops for medical, hospitality & corporate environments.
We have an immediate opening for an (In-House) AutoCAD/Microvellum Drafter to join our team! NO REMOTE WORK!!!
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Use Microvellum and AutoCAD based software, to create shop drawings for client review and manufacturing purposes.
-The individual will learn how to process CNC cut lists and G-Code, as well as custom CNC programs to assist with our products.
-Read and interpret architectural construction documents.
-Drafting casework and millwork per project documents and quotes, and per our standards and details.
-Revise shop drawings with field dimensions and client notes.
-Utilize Microvellum to generate CNC work orders and cut lists for manufacturing.
-Coordinate with our Operations Dept. to ensure schedule is adhered to.
Requirements & Skills to Succeed:
-Ability to read blue prints and construction documents.
-Minimum two years Experience drafting with AutoCAD is required.
-Ability to develop portions of a project with little oversight.
-Knowledgeable in architectural drafting and detailing techniques.
-Strong design skills.
-Technical understanding of construction and processes.
-An interest in growing with the company.
-Experience using Microvellum is desired, but not required.
Compensation $18.00 - $28.00 per hour de
