Duties
- Supervise daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Lead, motivate, and manage retail staff through effective team management, training & development, and performance coaching.
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing activities to maximize sales opportunities.
- Handle customer service issues with professionalism, employing strong communication skills to resolve conflicts and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage cash handling, POS systems, cashiering processes, and payroll tasks with accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct employee orientation, interviewing potential candidates, and participate in recruiting efforts to build a strong retail team.
- Utilize management skills to oversee pricing strategies, sales management, operational management, and store merchandising initiatives.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within the retail industry or similar fast-paced environments.
- Strong background in retail sales management with expertise in inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing teams, training staff, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in basic math, bookkeeping, budgeting, and retail math for daily operations.
- Experience with employee recruitment processes including interviewing and onboarding new team members.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
- Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus; however, a passion for retail management and customer service is essential.
