We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Shift Supervisor to join our team in Lynchburg. This role is perfect for a "working lead"—someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and clean alongside their team while ensuring all operational standards are met. You will be the bridge between the cleaning staff and management, ensuring the facility remains in top-tier condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision: Oversee daily activities of cleaning staff, provide guidance, and coordinate team efforts to complete special projects.

• Quality Control: Assist the Manager in ensuring the building is cleaned according to the specific scope of work and contract requirements.

• General Cleaning: Perform hands-on cleaning tasks including pulling trash, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting restrooms.

• Team Support: Step in to assist with any cleaning duties as assigned to ensure the shift runs smoothly.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in professional cleaning or facility maintenance.

• Leadership: Prior experience supervising a team or leading projects is preferred.

• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 35 lbs repetitively and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.

• Reliability: Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are essential for this Monday–Friday daytime shift.
