What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in benefits administration. If you have experience with claims or HR, that’s a huge plus!
- Education: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge: You’re well-versed in benefits laws and workers’ comp regulations. If you know your way around medical terminology, you’ll hit the ground running.
- Technical Savvy: You are a pro with the Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace and have experience (or a quick ability to learn) HRIS platforms like Dayforce.
- Communication Skills: You can turn complex insurance jargon into easy-to-understand information for our employees.
- Heart: You possess outstanding customer service skills and a high level of integrity. You care about doing the right thing for our people.
- Professional certifications like PHR, SHRM-CP, or CEBS.
- An OSHA 10-Hour certification.
- A "can-do" attitude and a love for collaborative teamwork!
- Reports to: VP of Human Resources.
- Travel: Occasional trips to our branch offices or field sites to meet the team where they are.
- Environment: A supportive, professional corporate setting with a moderate noise level and plenty of opportunities to engage with others.
