The Budd Group is seeking an experienced engineering leader to serve as Assistant Vice President of Facilities Planning & Program Management within our Private Education division.
This is a senior-level leadership role focused on integrated facilities management (IFM), capital planning, sustainability strategy, and program development across private education campuses nationwide.
This position will play a critical role in scaling a growing division and driving operational and revenue growth.
Assistant Vice President Key Responsibilities

Lead facilities strategy across multiple private education campuses

Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs)

Drive sustainability and energy management initiatives

Oversee capital planning and long-term facilities programs
-
Support integrated facilities management (IFM) growth

Advise executive leadership and present to board-level stakeholders

Manage and develop multifunctional teams

Travel to sites to assess operations, implement programs, and support clients
Assistant Vice President Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering discipline

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (Required)

5 years of experience in facilities management, engineering leadership, capital planning, or program management
-
Demonstrated experience in sustainability, energy management, or ESG initiatives

Experience leading teams and managing complex facilities operations

Ability to travel approximately 70%

Master’s degree in Engineering or Sustainability

Experience in private education, higher education, K-12, or institutional facilities

Background in integrated facilities management (IFM) environments
