The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources department. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role ensures the precise calculation and distribution of wages, taxes, deductions, and benefits, while maintaining comprehensive payroll records and resolving payroll-related inquiries. The Payroll Specialist collaborates closely with Human Resources and Finance to support audits and reporting requirements. Strong attention to detail, a high level of confidentiality, and in-depth knowledge of payroll laws and systems are essential for success in this position.

Who you are:
- You have one of the following education and experience combinations:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1 year of payroll experience;
- Associates degree in a related field with 2 years of payroll experience;
- Advanced degree in a non-related field with 3 years of payroll experience.
- High School Diploma with 6 years of payroll experience.
- You have proven computer skills using a payroll/HRIS system.
- You have an active driver’s license.
