SUMMARY
The Residential Services Coordinator supports the Residential Department by organizing, planning, and executing general administrative functions. This role operates with a high degree of independence in managing communications with Citizen families, coordinating annual license renewals, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
The position requires managing multiple projects that support the full scope of Residential operations. The Residential Coordinator will analyze, evaluate, and help redesign processes, working closely with Residential Community Members to implement improvements that enhance efficiency and professional engagement. Additionally, this role serves as a primary liaison to Citizen families, fostering strong and consistent relationships.
I. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in ensuring all residential home functions operate efficiently; support inspections, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop tracking systems to maintain compliance.
Serve as the primary Residential liaison, independently managing communication with families by:
Answering calls
Gathering and prioritizing information
Routing inquiries appropriately
Following up to ensure timely resolution
Maintain a consistent and trusting relationship with families and guardians.
Complete projects and special assignments aligned with organizational standards; establish objectives, prioritize tasks, and monitor progress while gaining cooperation from stakeholders.
Coordinate and schedule Citizen airline travel and Residential candidate interviews; assist leadership with administrative reporting as needed.
Maintain and update the Department Emergency Action Plan, ensuring accuracy with all staffing and Citizen changes.
Maintain Health and Human Services records, ensuring documentation is organized and readily accessible.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures.
Process Residential payroll timesheets; collaborate with Human Resources and managers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Manage the Residential Director’s calendar, including prioritizing and scheduling appointments and determining relevant information for effective time management.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Residential Director.
II. QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
3–5 years of experience supporting a large team of exempt and non-exempt staff, or equivalent combination of education and experience
B. Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated patience, tolerance, and willingness to learn
Strong commitment to serving adults with functional disabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in relevant computer applications
C. Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply sound judgment and common sense in handling a wide range of situations involving staff, Citizens, families, and regulatory requirements
III. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work
Frequent talking and listening, particularly via phone
Occasional standing, walking, bending, stretching, and stooping
Requires close and color vision
IV. WORK ENVIRONMENT

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
