What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at The Brook of Grayling?
Schedule Details:
- Day Shift
- Scheduled Monday - Friday
- Part Time - 16 hours per week
- Rotating On-Call for Emergencies
- Flexible Schedule - to be determined with supervisor

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs
- Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining building systems, including plumbing, heating, and basic electrical components
- Assisting with carpentry, groundskeeping, painting, and general facility upkeep
- Conducting preventative maintenance to help avoid costly repairs
- Ensuring all buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained to Brook standards
- Interacting professionally and respectfully with residents, visitors, and team members
Qualifications
- Has experience or working knowledge of plumbing, heating, carpentry, and grounds maintenance
- Is self-motivated and able to work independently
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Has a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Enjoys working with and supporting older adults
- Has reliable transportation and is willing to travel between locations
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a criminal background check
