Dates and Times to be aware of:
New Faculty contracts start August 1, 2026 and the school year concludes before Memorial Day 2027. Typically faculty are expected to be on campus from 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. Faculty are under contract from August 1 - July 31, which reflects the bi-monthly payment schedule and health benefits plan year for eligible employees.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support instructional delivery by assisting the classroom teacher or interventionist with implementing lesson plans, providing small group instruction, or reinforcing learning through guided practice and activities.
- Assist in classroom management by helping maintain a structured, welcoming, and organized learning environment.
- Provide academic support by working with individual students or small groups to reinforce instruction, review material, or support intervention goals under the direction of the teacher or academic support team.
- Monitor and document student behavior and engagement, sharing observations with the lead teacher to inform instructional decisions and student support plans.
- Prepare instructional materials and resources as directed, including organizing learning stations, preparing manipulatives, copying handouts, or setting up technology.
- Support social and emotional development by modeling respectful behavior, encouraging positive peer interactions, and assisting with conflict resolution as appropriate.
- Supervise students in the classroom, during transitions, and in other school settings (e.g., recess, lunch, chapel, or arrival/dismissal) to ensure safety and appropriate conduct.
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with the assigned teacher and team to ensure alignment of support strategies and student needs.
- Participate in school and team meetings, professional development sessions, and trainings as required.
- Contribute to the broader mission of Brook Hill by demonstrating servant leadership and participating in school activities and events as appropriate.
- Maintain a safe and clean learning environment by following classroom procedures and supporting the teacher in implementing routines and safety protocols.
