Job Title: Restaurant Host/Hostess

Pay Rate: $16.00-23.00 per hour inclusive of hourly pay rate service charge*

• $16-23 per hour based on $14.00 per hour base wage service charge commission paid per shift; historically, this position averages service charge commission earnings of $2.00-10.00 per hour. Service charges are commissions and will fluctuate based on events and time of year.
  
  

This position always earns at least the current Colorado minimum wage $15.16 per hour.

Job Summary

As a member of the Food and Beverage team, this person will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, making reservations, and providing hospitality to guests.

What You Will Be Doing

• Operate computer reservation system in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Answer phones and respond to guest requests in accordance with Broadmoor Standards of Excellence
• Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties and/or special services for diners
• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus
• Identify and assist in problem solving as it relates to providing an exceptional guest experience
• Set-up workstations and control food and beverage checks
• Guide and assist in the training of new staff
• Order and stock supplies as needed
• Follow Broadmoor safety, hygiene, and uniform standards

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); at least two years of related experience or equivalent preferred
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
