Job Title: 1st Shift Guest Room Attendant

Job Pay Rate: $19.10 per hour

As a guest room attendant, its main function would be to designated rooms and areas are impeccable, disinfected and fully equipped to offer a comfortable and cozy stay for the guest.

What You Will Be Doing

• Thoroughly clean bedrooms, bathrooms and other areas in guest rooms (sweep floors, clean mirrors, disinfected toilets and showers).
• Change sheets, make the beds including rollaway and sofa bed, and replaced used or dirty towels with clean ones.
• Replenish supplies such as bathroom amenities, mini bar items, printed products, and other necessary in the rooms.
• Vacuum carpets, dust the furniture and clean the windows.
• Emptying trash cans or wastebaskets.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops floors and guest room patios.
• Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor, via assigned device or the housekeeping office immediately and comply with the Broadmoor's lost and found policy.
• Assists guest with directions, responds to their needs, and should have extensive knowledge of all hotel facilities, including restaurants, shops, and function spaces.
• Defeathering process for our guest rooms.
• Make sure that each room meets the high standards of hygiene and presentation of the Broadmoor.
• Familiarity with the safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• All other duties assigned by Park Supervisors and Park Manager

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or General Education Degree, preferably with one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend down, stretch and lift or move objects.
• Ability to clean the assigned number of rooms within the established shift.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs. with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
