Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Job Pay Range: $16.92-$17.50 per hour

As a member of the Housekeeping team member, you will work maintain hotel premises in clean and orderly manner with the main focus on guest room deliveries, corridors, and linen closets by performing the following duties.

What You Will Be Doing

• Cleans and maintains guest hallways, corridors, elevators, stairways, and assigned service areas.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops floors and guest room patios.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Transports trash, broken glass, and waste to proper disposal area.
• Performs special deep cleaning assignments throughout the hotel.
• Reports maintenance orders to the areas of responsibility and also inputs work orders via HOTSOS.
• Empties wastebaskets and glass container bins in all assigned areas.
• Delivers refrigerators, baby cribs, rollaway beds, and other furniture to guestrooms.
• Assists in the delivery of all guests’ requests as they pertain to housekeeping.
• Delivers clean bathrobes to linen closets and guest rooms upon requests.
• Draining and filling ice chests/ bins in linen closets
• Assists in moving guest room furniture for cleaning or to meet guest needs.
• Delivers supplies to linen closets
• Stocking proper glass wear and removing dirty dishes from linen closets
• Trained on how to make a rollway, guest room bed and sofa bed.
• Defeathering for our guest rooms and Chemical free process
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• All other duties assigned by Executives, Supervisors and Leads

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or General Education Degree, preferably with one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs. with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times.
• Able to drive a company vehicle with an up to date driver’s license
