What You Will Be Doing
- Measure, lay out, cut, and install flooring.
- Perform needed repairs in the best way possible.
- Train other employees to perform skilled trade.
- Maintain equipment in working order.
- Order supplies.
- Comply with established safety rules and health regulations of The BROADMOOR and the Maintenance Department.
- Utilize organizational communications system within department and other departments.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); prior experience in all types of flooring installation such as patterns, boarders, and all types of flooring materials.
- The employee is occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
