Job Title: Flooring Specialist

Job Pay Range: $17.00- $19.00 per hour.

If so, you should consider joining The Broadmoor Engineering team as our next Flooring Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing carpeting, vinyl, tile, wood flooring etc. This position will also supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in installation and/or repair of flooring.

What You Will Be Doing

• Measure, lay out, cut, and install flooring.
• Perform needed repairs in the best way possible.
• Train other employees to perform skilled trade.
• Maintain equipment in working order.
• Order supplies.
• Comply with established safety rules and health regulations of The BROADMOOR and the Maintenance Department.
• Utilize organizational communications system within department and other departments.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); prior experience in all types of flooring installation such as patterns, boarders, and all types of flooring materials.
• The employee is occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 100 pounds with assistance.   
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
